Responsibilities:As a field service technician for Western Star Northwest (also known as “mobile mechanic”), you can expect to conduct on-road and customer on-site maintenance services by troubleshooting, diagnosing and performing preventative and corrective maintenance on heavy duty equipment.
Don’t have Freightliner certifications? While you may not qualify for the bonus, don’t worry, we are looking for technicians like you and we have programs in place to help you grow.

Qualifications:Heavy equipment dealership experience is helpful in this job role; two years or more preferred. Three years of actual truck repair experience needed. Bring your strong mechanical aptitude, team player mentality and belief in safety first to Team WSNW.
Work Schedules
Monday - Friday 1PM - 9:30PM
Other: Must have valid driver’s license and be insurable. CDL-A is a plus. A full complement of tools required for diesel equipment repair including wrenches and sockets to 1 ¼”, 3/8” and ½” drive air tools, floor creeper and a roll around tool cabinet.

Ability to drive a vehicle, lift, push or pull objects of various shapes, sizes and weights, up to 100 pounds. Safely walk, reach, bend, climb, push, twist, squat and kneel as necessary to perform the essential job duties. Safely walk and stand for extended periods of time. Use a telephone and computer.
Environmental Demands: Primarily outdoor work. High noise level. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. Coveralls, ear and eye protection provided.
