POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Mobile Director of Nursing you will provide leadership and support to the nursing staff at multiple facilities to assure that care standards are met and the highest level of care is provided to residents at all times. Travel to various facilities is required as needed. It is your responsibility to organize, develop, manage, and direct the overall operations of the Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the community. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.
Education & Qualifications:
- Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN within the state in which you work.
- Must possess a current CPR certification.
- Possession of a certification in infection control prevention is preferred, but not required.
- Must be able to communicate in English and have the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must possess and demonstrate the ability to carry out both verbal and written directions.
- Must possess and demonstrate good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with supervisors, co-workers and community leadership in the performance of duties.
- Ability to observe proper safety and sanitary techniques.
- Ability to work hours as scheduled based on the requirements of the position/assignment.
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.
- Must have the ability to travel and work throughout the area of assignment.
- Must be able to attend orientation at the Saber Community Support and Development Office located in Beachwood, Ohio.
Experience:
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role in a hospital, nursing community or other related healthcare community, preferably in long term care.
- Have a history of excellent quality and survey outcome.
