Basic Job Functions:



The Mobile Equipment Mechanic position is responsible for Emergency Service Calls, as well as Preventive Maintenance/Repair Work on Heavy Mobile Equipment which Includes Fork trucks, Service Trucks, Semi-Tractor Trailers, Track Cranes, Loaders, and Locomotive Engines. [[cust_safetyState]]





Minimum Qualifications:



1. 2 year Associates Degree or Vocational Tech Certificate in Heavy Mobile Equipment Maintenance


2. Mechanics with Hydraulic Troubleshooting and Repair Experience as well as Gas, and Diesel Engine Repair Experience, minimum 3 Years Verified.


3. Working Knowledge of Heavy Equipment Electronic Diagnostics Systems


4. Working Knowledge of Heavy Equipment Hydraulic Systems and Trouble Shooting


5. Working Knowledge of Gasoline and Diesel Engines in Heavy Equipment Applications





Preferred Qualifications:



1. Preventive/Predictive Training


2. 3 years Field Service with Heavy Equipment Dealership


3. Strong Desire for Self Improvement
