About the Job
KFS is a provider of Outpatient Mental Health and Therapeutic Support for Family Services for kids throughout the state of Delaware. Both services enable not only the child but the family to learn how to work with each other to support the child’s needs. The services can be provided anywhere (school, community, home) based on the convenience of the family. Goals are attained by both the behavioral support professional and the licensed therapist weekly which truly allows for an individualized approach.
Summary of Responsibilities:

- Formulate psychosocial assessments.
- Develop collaborative treatment plans.
- Provide individual and family therapy based on clinical needs.
- Provide crisis intervention and planning.
- Coordinate Outpatient Therapy Services with DPBHS and other agencies and support involved the youth and family.
Required Experience and Education:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in psychology, social work, or another human service field and be on track for licensure.
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Maintain professional boundaries and behavior, as specified by their professional Code of Ethics/Conduct, during interactions with all staff and clients.
