Position Summary
The Mobile Services Procurement Specialist supports multiple business units by analyzing financial and technical data. The analyst acts as a detective and strategic thinker who ensures that every dollar spent on mobile services aligns with business needs.
Essential Functions

- Audit mobility-related expenses, such as data plans, device purchases, roaming charges, etc.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategies to optimize spending.
- Monitor mobile usage patterns across the organization.
- Analyze data consumption by smartphones and data devices.
- Identify any anomalies or excessive usage cases.
- Collaborate with mobile service partners.
- Track service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Work closely with finance teams to create accurate mobility budgets.
- Forecast future costs based on usage trends and business growth.
- Understand company policies relating to mobile usage.
- Develop and maintain reporting tools.
- Audit devices with zero usage and determine disposition.
- Provide regular updates to management on cost metrics and usage trends.
- Verify the accuracy of cost centers and location data to ensure proper billing.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
- Relevant degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for decision-makers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and spreadsheets is a must.
- 2-3 years of experience in mobility/data management.
- 2+ years of procurement experience, specifically within the IT industry, is preferred.
- Familiarity with telecom billing systems and mobility management platforms.

- Must successfully pass an extensive background screening which may include criminal record checks (local, state, and federal), drug test, skills assessment test, interviews, and personality profile
- Negative result on pre-employment drug screen
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, hourly, non-exempt position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position may require occasional long hours and weekend work.
