Mobile X-Ray Technologist

Our Award-Winning Client is seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services across nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and various care settings. In this role, you'll work with state-of-the-art portable digital radiography equipment, manage EKG procedures, and ensure smooth communication with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment to capture diagnostic X-Rays and securely transmit images to Radiologists for evaluation.
- Transport and set up X-Ray equipment at different healthcare locations, performing physician-ordered exams to deliver high-quality imaging results.
- Conduct and transmit EKGs as needed for Cardiologist review and interpretation.
- Accurately scan and submit daily paperwork and billing documents following established procedures.
- Maintain communication with dispatch and management to ensure smooth operational flow.
- Professionally interact with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
- Perform routine maintenance on both the vehicle and X-Ray equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Candidate Requirements: Applicants should have at least one year of experience in ANY of the following:
- Meditech RAD – Radiology
- Mammography
- Radiology
- Echocardiogram (echo)
- Electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG)
- Echocardiography
Additionally, candidates must possess:
- Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- A valid driver’s license in good standing.
- Current COVID-19 vaccination status.
Schedule and Shift Information:
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM or 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, including weekends.
- Shift differential: $2.00 for shifts starting at 2:00 PM on weekdays; Weekend differential of $3.00 for shifts beginning at or after 2:00 PM.

Physical Requirements: Technologists must handle equipment weighing between 50-100 lbs. While ramps and pulleys can ease transport, manual handling in facilities may still require significant physical exertion multiple times per day.
