Job Title: X-Ray Technologist
The Highlights:

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submit/transmit them to a Radiologist for interpretation.
- Unload and transport portable X-Ray equipment into facilities to perform exams ordered by physicians.
- Perform EKGs as needed and transmit results to a Cardiologist for interpretation.
- Scan and process exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily according to protocol.
- Maintain regular communication with dispatch and management.
- Interact professionally and efficiently with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
- Ensure proper maintenance of the vehicle and X-ray equipment.
Schedule and Shift Details:
- Weekend Shift: Friday through Sunday, 8:00am - 9:00pm, with rotating weekends, on-call, and holidays.
- Weekday Shift: Monday through Friday, 11:00am - 7:30pm, with rotating weekends, on-call, and holidays.
Qualifications Required:
- Experience:
- 1+ years of experience in any of the following: Meditech RAD – Radiology, Mammography, or Radiology.
- 1+ years of experience in any of the following: Echocardiogram (echo), Electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG), or Echocardiography.
- Certifications and Licenses:
- Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification.
- Valid regular driver’s license (DL).
- COVID-19 Vaccination: Must have up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination.
Physical Demands:
- Radiologic Technologists may need to push/pull weights ranging from 50 to 100 lbs. The weight may decrease with the use of vehicle ramps and pulleys, but can increase when maneuvering equipment in facilities or homes. Up to 50 lbs of force or more may be exerted 16 to 24 times a day.
