The Dermatology/Mohs department at Gateway Salmon Creekis seeking a full-time Mohs Surgical Assistant to assists the Mohs surgeon by providing and controlling surgical instruments and equipment during Mohs stages. Must have active Medical Assistant-Certified credential from Washington State Department of Health, Dermatology experience, preferred . In this role you will ensure that instruments and supplies are cleaned, sterilized and available as needed, provide hands-on assisting with Mohs procedures and wound closures/repairs, and assist with lab/pathology processing of Mohs specimens. In addition, the Mohs assistant will assist the dermatology providers in day-to-day dermatology patient flow. Schedule is four, 10 hour shifts . Compensation: Wage range starts at $23.51, higher based on evaluation of experience
Requirements:
- Active Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified
- Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification.
- Working knowledge of aseptic techniques and sterilization practices.
- Two years of experience in an outpatient surgery center, Mohs dermatology practice, or office-based surgery department preferred.
- Must have reliable and predictable attendance.
Pay Range:
$23.51 - $32.91

PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked. Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.
