Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or related field required or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

The Mold Design Engineer is responsible for applying engineering principles to mold and production design.

Knowledge and operation of injection molding machines, set up, and troubleshooting.

Knowledge of using injection molding simulation software and windage to compensate for shrinkage and warpage.

Extensive knowledge of injection molding tooling design and tool making processes.

Detailed understanding of plastics molding-related process variables and their impact on throughput, quality, and yield rate.

Strong to expert-level 3D CAD skills, including advanced surfacing and large assemblies.

Knowledge of mold maintenance and repairs.

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted.

This position requires skills utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and basic computer skills.

Communication skills, at all levels of the organization (via email, in person or phone).

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers.

Ability to solve problems.
