Mold Maintenance Technician - EFP

Position Summary
The Mold Maintenance Technician performs maintains molds for the foam molding operation and performs set up activities to meet daily production requirements.

Essential job functions

• Performs all work in a safe manner.
• Sets up molds and prepares for timely and effective mold changes.
• Performs mold changes.
• Cleans molds.
• Troubleshoots any problems with molds and mold changes.
• Completes daily mold change documentation and other required paperwork.
• Participates in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement events and activities.
• Performs other duties as needed to support the success of the team and operation.

• Experience performing mold maintenance, mold changes, or set-up work is preferred.
• Must be mechanically inclined and able to consistently perform skilled set-up work in an efficient and safe manner.
• Must be able to read and follow work instructions and production schedules.
• Must be able to use hands and fingers and lift carry, pull, and push up to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability and willingness to travel for initial job training, including air travel and driving of a motor vehicle.
