Job Title: Mortgage Loan Processor II Status Non-Exempt
Department: Consumer & Residential Lending
Reports To: Consumer & Residential Lending
Primary Purpose of the JOB:
The Loan Processor II is responsible for the loan set up, verifying signed disclosures and the processing of all conventional portfolio, FHA, VA, MSHDA and construction loans. The Processor will accumulate all required information to ensure data integrity. The Processor will clear all loan and commitment conditions and schedule the closing with the borrower and realtor/builder.
Essential DUTIES:
- Place orders for appraisals, title work and condo documentation
- Enter order and received dates in tracking software
- Pull flood certificate
- Order all verifications VOE, VOD, VOM or VOR
- Order FHA Case Number, CAIVRS and VA LIN numbers
- Order Payoff
- Update Housing Opportunity Index (HOI)
- Update Flood Insurance
- Address audits from the compliance department that relate to processing loans
- Create and monitor applicable reports for meeting contract deadlines
- Meet weekly with assigned MLO to review pipeline and approval letters
- Contact customers to collect required documentation for loan approval
- Schedule closings
- Separate initial file upload
- Separate documents and credit
- Review all documents provided for initial UW
- Review application and contact information to ensure accuracy
- Review disclosure dates and tracking data to ensure accuracy
- Run Mavent/Review findings and correct as needed
- Run USPS to validate address
- Corresponds with borrower(s) and LOA on conditions
- Place orders for transcripts as needed
- Place orders for written verification of employment if applicable
- Obtain homeowner’s insurance on purchase files
- Participate in weekly pipeline meeting with LO and LOA
- Create and maintain a courteous and professional relationship with co-workers while maintaining timely and prompt daily attendance

Required Experience/SKILLS:
- Two to four years related job experience
- Customer service experience
- Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously
- Good attention to detail and confident ability to make decisions
- Ability to work independently
Required EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or equivalency (GED)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows/Office
- Knowledge of Open Close a plus (but not required)
Working CONDITIONS:
- Office environment with little exposure to physical hazards or conditions
- Ability to enter data into a computer and work with computer programs: Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time
- Ability to reach with hands and fingers, touching computer buttons/adding machine buttons for extended periods of time
