Seeking Entry level Customer service/administrative individuals who want to kickstart their career in the mortgage industry! There are various positions available to provide support through the mortgage title/closing process.
Description:
Post-Closing Specialist
The Post-Closing Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all closing conditions, laid out by the lender or their investor, are met after signing and that all transactions disburse timely and as scheduled. The Post Closing Specialist will also process or service loan documentation and support, ensuring that all work has been completed and departmental deadlines have been met. This is a great entry level opportunity. You will be stacking packages, scanning documents and packages, and overseeing any other general administrative skillsets.
Funding Specialist
The Funding Specialist is responsible for timely payment of mortgages, taxes, insurance, recording fees, and any other disbursements associated with a real estate transaction. The Funding Specialist receives escrow funds for all transactions and disburses funds in accordance with lender requirements, and local and national escrow requirements This candidate will be handling money- this is NOT an entry level opportunity. This position requires attention to detail, high level energy, and the ability work later every day.
Recording Specialist
The Recording/Policy Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all documents are recorded per requirements outlined and delivers the final title policy as requested to the lender. This position requires high organization skills as the candidate will be working with a lot of paperwork.
Title Specialist
The Title Specialist is responsible for generating Silk’s title commitments, ensuring each document is accurate and consistent with the current information reflected in the public land records. The Title Specialist is responsible for researching deeds, land records and other documents regarding land ownership. This position will involve a lot of data entry and computer-based work. You will be working independently to analyze the analysis of data.
Curative Specialist
The Curative Specialist responsible for obtaining all curative evidence necessary to clear items from title that would be impediments to issuing a clear title insurance policy at the close of transaction.

Education:
Associate or bachelor's degree a plus but not required - will take equal professional experience
Someone who is professional, eager to work, has flexible work availability and is reliable, would be the best fit due to the variety of the work schedule.
Hours: 9a-9p (would be scheduled for 40 hours)
- Example of what a schedule COULD look like; Monday: 9a-6p, Tuesday: 10a-7p, Wednesday: 10a-7p, Thursday: 12p-9p, Friday: 11a-8p
- Schedules are not known until you have been offered a position which is why flexibility is so important!!!
