Responsibilities:Position Summary:
The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing MRI procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Interviews patients to obtain history for MRI compatibility explains procedures obtains signatures on necessary paperwork. Inputs patient information into the computer and chooses appropriate protocol adhering to physician orders. Assists in positioning the patients for the procedure.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-year MRI experience required.
- Excellent verbal and written skills to facilitate communication with medical and technical personnel.
- Must have the ability to read write and speak English.
- MRI License, CA Radiology Technologist (R) (F), ARRT (R) (F) and CPR required.
- Traveler (contracted staff do not require Fluoro).
- Venipuncture required upon hire.
- Demonstrated competency required within 30-days of hire.
