Job Details:Duties:
•Performs cardiac and various MRI procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative.
•The technologist will produce and evaluate MRI images for technical quality, correctly identifies images and patients, and effectively use judgment for protocols and procedures.
•Responsible for the proper use of the RIS (scheduling exams, patient tracking, dicom image management, proper completion of exams).
•Responsible for all other equipment used in MR (e.g., monitoring equipment, stereotactic biopsy equipment, and any other devices used in MRI).
•Adheres to St. Francis Hospital and departmental policies and procedures and JCAHO/ regulatory agency requirements. Demonstrates and promotes service excellence at all times.
Requirements:
•NYS radiographer's license
•Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
•Knowledge and working experience in Cardiac MRI for at least one year required.
Posted Salary Range:USD $50.00 - USD $63.00 /Hr. :This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and position location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
