MRI Technologist at Mitchell Martin

A world class hospital located in New York has an immediate need for an MRI Technologist to join their team.

Type : Contract
Schedule: 02:00pm-10:00pm (includes a 30min break)
Location: New York

Responsibilities:
Operates diagnostic imaging equipment in order to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes,
Process films and performs imaging enhancements according to procedure.
Ensure all radio-graphs are appropriately labeled as specified by Department
Participate in quality improvement activities by collecting and assisting in the interpretation of relevant data when requested.
Perform other duties as requested.
Explain procedures to patients and assists radiologist in administering medications.

Requirements:
NYS DOH Certified
Completion of 2-year course of an approved school of Radio-logic Technology.
Registered Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist by the American Registry of Radio-logic Technologists (ARRT).
Must have 2-3 years' experience as an MRI Technologist with a license by the state of NY.
BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required.
IV insertion certified and Contrast injection certified
