Job Duties And Responsibilities
The MRO Coordinator is an essential member of the procurement team, responsible for the sourcing and purchasing of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) materials
Primary responsibilities include creating purchase orders, monitoring inventory levels, finding cost-effective sources for supplies, analyzing competing offers, and monitoring inventory levels.
Adjust inventory stock levels to reflect present manufacturing demands
Perform routine cycle count audits of entire MRO inventory
Verify all items issued through the MRO comply with Client quality standards
Monitor and audit MRO internal and external transactions and ensure all issuances are billed to correct general ledger account
Perform field checks associated with stocked products to verify quality compliance
Utilize work order kitting processes system to work in conjunction with the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Actively participate in Client Operational Excellence activities
Participate in the Client environmental, health and safety (EHS) activities, completing daily, weekly and monthly safety related tasks
Qualifications, Education / Training
Must have a high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
Minimum of 4 years experience in maintenance and/or manufacturing, with an electrical or mechanical background dealing with replacement parts associated with motors, pumps, hydraulics, mechanical systems, heaters, HVAC and basic controls.
Technical equipment knowledge to identify and source OEM equivalent parts
Familiarity with computers; ability to retrieve information and navigate through systems using MS Office suite and Maximo (PM Module).
Communicate effectively, both verbally and written not only within the maintenance team but also with all of our customers, contractors and vendors.
Previous experience issuing POs through procurement system
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities as required.
Ability to complete and maintain internal safety training requirements
Desire to garner and use constructive work feedback in a positive manner to improve personal performance
Must have ability to lead team and be dependable and cross-functional, working independently with minimal supervision.
Consistently and openly welcome constructive upgrades to job plans from the plant trades persons and to action the upgrades in a timely manner.

We are looking for someone with strong Excel skills.
That will be doing the counting, tracking, ordering and documenting for the maintenance department.
They will be doing reporting, ordering, cycle counting and will need to be good at working with minimal supervision.
With that in mind we will need a self motivated individual that can be given direction and run with things once trained.
It would be a huge plus if the person has some maintenance experience in the past but not required since the majority of the work will be done in the office.
Some past titles that would likely be a fit are former buyers, junior manufacturing or maintenance coordinators and even someone with minimal on the job experience that has strong excel skills and some maintenance aptitude that we can train up.
