Position Overview:
The MRO Supply Coordinator is responsible for managing inventory, procurement, and logistics for maintenance, repair, and operating supplies. This role plays a key part in ensuring that all necessary materials are available for production and maintenance activities while maintaining optimal inventory levels and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the inventory of MRO supplies, including tools, spare parts, and other materials, to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Coordinate the procurement of MRO items and quotes with the Senior Buyer.
• Track shipments and delivery schedules, resolving any issues related to delivery delays or discrepancies.
• Work closely with the Maintenance, Production, and Purchasing teams to identify and fulfill material requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, purchase orders, and supplier information.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
• Analyze inventory usage patterns to optimize reorder points and reduce excess inventory.
• Assist with budgeting and cost-control initiatives related to MRO supplies.
• Collaborate with vendors to negotiate pricing, lead times, and other terms of supply agreements.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards for stored materials.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or relevant certification in supply chain management or a related field is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in inventory management, procurement, or supply chain operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards for industrial materials is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• Primarily works within the factory-setting: concrete floors, cold and hot temperatures seasonally.
• Frequent walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, carrying, and bending.
