A Department Assistant at Munson Healthcare is responsible for securing student placement at sites, creation and communication of clerkship schedules to students and faculty, creating and securing evaluations for both students and faculty, tracking assignments and student logging requirements, and drafting the Final Clerkship Evaluation on behalf of the Community Clerkship Director. In additions, is responsible for recording teaching hours of faculty for Continuing Medical Education credit, oversight of Performance Based Assessments for students, Mid-Clerkship meetings and documentation of, oral examinations and serves as a Chief Proctor for the National Board Exams.
What’s Required:
Experience/Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Three years of secretarial/clerical/administrative experience required
