As a Multi Cloud Security Global Blackbelt (GBB) you will be a solution sales leader working with our most important customers and deals. You will collaborate and lead a virtual team of technical, partner, marketing and engineering resources to advance the sales process and achieve/exceed solution sales and consumption targets for our Microsoft Defender for Cloud family of security products. GBBs possess extensive experience with executive customer relationships and connections, along with a deep knowledge of our competitor's offerings, sales strategies, and the ability to cultivate relationships with customers.
The role involves working as part of a global team, and although regionally based, the person hired will also support colleagues in other geographies. Successful candidates will be self-motivated, customer obsessed and will work closely with the local sales teams.

**Responsibilities**
+ Be the Security CNAPP and Multi Cloud Security expert and leader in your assigned region. Lead both sales and technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, architectural design sessions, proof of concepts, and pilots to explain, demonstrate, and prove to our largest customers the capabilities of Microsoft's CNAPP offering, and how we can make their businesses more successful.
+ Partner with and coach account teams and security sellers on deal shaping and winning use cases and participate in Winroom calls.
+ Prove Enterprise customer level experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures and architecture design. Design replacement/ takeout strategies and technical paths against our key competitors for Multi Cloud Security.
+ Partner with Product Management and CxE (Customer Experience Engineering) to uncover and prioritize improvements and enhancements to win the technical decision for the deal.
+ Support partner and field sales via technical coaching and enablement.
+ Help identify and remove business, technical and competitive blockers for Multi Cloud Security in your region. Work closely with your respective Business Architect to transport the voice of the customer. Help to consolidate the time zone feedback to your Business Architect.
+ Complete required training and obtains relevant product and role certifications aligned to the role and workload/industry.

**Qualifications**
**Required/Minimum Qualifications**
+ 5+ years technology-related sales or account management experience
+ OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 4+ years technology-related sales or account management experience.
+ 1+ year of related experience in security sales and/or technical sales roles.
+ 1+ year of experience with securely architecting and deploying security workloads.
+ Experienced in Cloud Infrastructure on Azure, AWS or GCP
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ 10+ years of related experience in security sales and/or technical sales roles.
+ Knowledge of competitors to Microsoft's Defender for Cloud and CNAPP security products.
Solution Area Specialists IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,100 - $185,400 per year.
There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $144,000 - $203,500 per year.
Solution Area Specialists IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,000 - $217,600 per year.
There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $168,600 - $237,500 per year.
