Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Foreman:
- Oversee and manage all electrical installations and maintenance on the construction site.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of the electrical team.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress and resolve any issues.
2. Senior Electricians:
- Perform complex electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
- Train and mentor junior electricians, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
3. Journeyman:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code.
- Assist senior electricians with complex tasks and projects.
- Continually learn and apply new skills to improve performance and service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid journeyman electrician license.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial electrical roles, preferably in the construction industry.
- Experience in retail, hotel, and hospitality electrical work is a plus.
- Proven experience as a foreman or a similar supervisory role is required for the Foreman position.
- Excellent knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and safety regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to use electrical and hand tools, electrical drawings, and testing equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and team management skills for the Foreman role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment and handle physical workload.
- Commitment to complying with all safety and standard operating procedures.
