POSITION SUMMARY
The Multispecialty Office Manager will provide operational support to the functions performed within the multidisciplinary service line in support of program objectives and goals.
The Multispecialty Office Manager oversees operational systems that support multidisciplinary business operations, to include patient scheduling and registration, the scope of clerical and administrative support personnel. The Manager maintains equipment and materials inventory, instructs and holds staff accountable for policy and procedure adherence and acts as a liaison with ancillary services, third party payers, physicians, and management to resolve customer service, patient care and financial issues. The Multispecialty Office Manager will focus on multidisciplinary expertise within the administration the multiple service lines, such as information system administration, physician relations, revenue cycle/ reimbursement or financial/budgeting.
The Multispecialty Office Manager provides input on opportunities to enhance and expand services, managed care contracting and builds strong staff and physician relationships. This position participates in short and long term planning for ambulatory services. The Manager supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree or specialized medical office preferred.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: A valid New Jersey license and insurability through AtlantiCare Fleet Policy and provisions required.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3 years' experience required as a supervisor in a multidisciplinary business operations required. Preferably within an ambulatory care setting or managed care operations. Strong Budget Management/Billing experience required. Medical office billing preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills required. Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred at time of hire; incumbents within position will be trained appropriately and then skill will be required for this position within 30-60 days from date of hire.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Potential for exposure to the hazards of the ambulatory environment, such as exposure to infectious disease, blood borne pathogens, hazardous waste, and potential injury.
