Museum Associate - MOLARI Employment and HealthCare Services

Seasonal position with Stockbridge museum. The Museum Associate covers Visitor Services, the Museum store and the Museum cafe. Each area entails visitor interaction so a strong customer service orientation is needed. Position preferred to be full time, 6 hours days, 6 days a week but can also consider part time if unable to work 6 days a week. Pay is $18/HR

Responsibilities: 

• Greeting individuals and groups, provide orientation to the museum and tour options
• Utilizing POS and reservation systems to book tours and experiences
• Answering phones, directing calls and providing guests with assistance with online bookings over the phone
• Familiarizing self with store and cafe merchandise
• Assist in cashiering
• Replenishing inventory and displays
• Answering membership questions

Experience & Qualifications:

• Personable with excellent communication skills.
• Works confidently in a busy environment and can manage a line efficiently.
• Able to learn technology systems quickly. Comfortable using a variety of technology systems, and willing to help visitors engage with digital technology (Mobile App etc.)
• Enjoys interacting with customers and making recommendations.
