We are searching for a Part Time Music Lesson Coordinator at the Patel Conservatory within the Straz Center for the Performing Arts! This position oversees the scheduling of Private Lessons and coordinates rehearsal and performance times for our Fall and Spring Private Lesson Recitals. This position will require approximately 10-15 hours over 3-4 days per week. The total number of hours each week will vary depending on departmental need, which fluctuates throughout the year.

Essential Functions:
- Collecting and updating instructors' schedules of availability.
- Fielding incoming Private Lesson Inquiries and replying in a timely manner.
- Scheduling lessons and reserving lesson spaces with the Operations department.
- Processing lesson registrations in ASAP, including billing.
- Scheduling Private Lesson students on one of three recitals each semester.
- Collecting titles and composers of works for the recital program.
- Collecting PDFs of piano accompaniment (where applicable).
- Scheduling accompaniment rehearsals.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Music, Music Education, Arts Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in administrative roles within a music or educational environment is preferred.
- Experience with scheduling software or databases and billing systems is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple schedules and coordinate logistics efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for responding to inquiries and interacting with instructors, students, and parents.
- Proficient in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and scheduling platforms.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in managing schedules and processing registrations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving skills.
