About the Job
We are looking for an experienced, charismatic and passionate Sales Professional for design centric acoustic panels and their related products. Responsibilities include identifying, converting, and maintaining prospective clients through lead generation in the architectural and interior design verticals. This position requires a consultative approach utilizing product and industry knowledge.
$72,000 base + commission
Responsibilities
Consultative sales approach using a high level of knowledge of product features and benefits
Consultative sales approach using a high level of industry trends and best practices
Interpret and translate client needs
Identify and convert prospective clients
Build and maintain good relationships with existing clients
Read/interpret architectural plans/drawings
Read/interpret shop drawings
Knowledge of the construction bid process (including takeoff's/BOM's for estimating)
Meet monthly KPI's
Find new target segments
Research and be knowledgeable on competitive offerings
Work closely with marketing, project managers, product design and production
Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and it's impact on the company's success
Experience within or servicing the interior design or architectural industry
5+ years of experience in sales
Excellent listener
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Critical thinker and problem solver
Attention to detail
Good time-management skills
Team player
Proficient in MS Office
BA degree in marketing or related field a plus
