ROLE OVERVIEW
As a National Account Manager at CertaSite, you will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with key national accounts, driving revenue growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including regional sales teams and operations, to develop and execute strategies that maximize customer retention and business development opportunities. This position offers the flexibility to work from one of CertaSite's regional offices.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Develop and execute account management strategies for key national accounts to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at national account customers, becoming a trusted advisor for their life safety and fire protection needs.
- Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to understand their evolving needs, identify opportunities for additional services, and address any concerns or issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including regional sales and operations, to ensure seamless execution of projects and services for national accounts.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to develop customized proposals, presentations, and other sales materials to support national account sales efforts.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and competitor activities, and proactively share insights with internal teams to enhance CertaSite's competitive advantage.
- Track and report on key account metrics, such as revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and contract renewal rates, and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional CertaSite services to national accounts.
- Collaborate with the customer service team to address any customer inquiries, issues, or escalations in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Represent CertaSite at industry conferences, trade shows, and other events to network with key stakeholders and promote CertaSite's capabilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Proven experience in national account management or strategic account management, preferably in fire protection, life safety, or related industry.
- Strong business acumen and a track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to navigate complex customer organizations and decision-making processes.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of fire protection and life safety systems and regulations is a plus.
- A willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events as needed.
IDEAL QUALITIES
- Business to Business fire and life safety industry experience driving revenue and helping build strong GTM strategies
- Demonstrated track record of uncovering opportunities and advancing prospect opportunities to close by following a prescribed selling campaign process
- Strong orientation to delivering winning outcomes and possessing an emotional engine that is contagiously felt throughout the organization
- Proficiency in identifying high value prospects, running a disciplined sales campaign and converting prospects into CertaSite customers

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: controlled climate, office environment, travel as needed; less than 10% travel required, visit customer locations and may have meetings in field settings, required to sit for long periods of time, eight hours or more per day and being frequently required to use monitor, keyboard, and phone
