About the Job
Bachelor’s degree required
An associate’s degree from an accredited university with 10+ years’ experience in active project management may substitute for the bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in affordable housing development, and project management at a managerial level or higher position.
Proficiency utilizing the Microsoft Office 365 suite as well as web-based project and task management programs and property management software
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Advanced strategic planning, implementation, and execution skills
Advanced leadership skills
Ability to read and analyze complex financial statements and organizational budget projections
Knowledge of LIHTC and HUD and State Funding program compliance and development process
Demonstrated experience in working with a diverse team for the rehabilitation and/or construction of affordable housing projects
Demonstrated experience working with city, state, and federal government bodies to secure development funding from multiple sources for multi-million-dollar development projects
Ability to work in a team researching, organizing, and presenting information related to government funding and complex legislation and policy regulations
Understanding of the long-term impact when implementing complex programs involving multiple government and private funding streams
Proven ability to create, analyze, and submit sophisticated state and federal grant contract reports and summaries
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain a professional disposition and remain positive and supportive in the performance of all job duties
Ability to give formal and informal group presentations
Ability to work as a productive member of leadership team
Ability to work independently
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks while maintaining a stable work environment
Knowledge and familiarity in developing funding streams through the creation of external community alliances
Preferences
Experience working with veterans experiencing homelessness and/or veteran housing preferred
