National Fleet Specialist - BMW Of North America

About the Job
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage the assigned fleet to ensure optimized utilization, through efficient scheduling of vehicle usage, logistics coordination between requestors and timely confirmation and/or approval of vehicle requests.
- Ensure non-aging inventory and refresh of fleets takes place not only at Department requests but also in balance of cost efficiencies.
- Coordinate with dealership staff on ensuring vehicle arrival, exchange, returned vehicle location and condition of returned vehicle.
- Ensure the timely exchange, sale and/or trucking of vehicles to meet monthly wholesale/retail targets for both BMW and MINI by direct contact with responsible contact to schedule the exchange, completing the physical exchange, updating the BMW VA system as required, ensuring the returned vehicle is in ideal condition for return, delivering the highest level of customer service throughout the interactions.
- Coordinate the titling and registration of scheduled exchanges with the local Title/Plater or 3rd party agency based on vehicle location.
- Contact and provide payment for vehicle related expenses (e.g towing expenses, flat tire invoices, etc.)
- Manages and coordinates repairs of all company vehicles with the National Workshop, BMW/MINI dealership, BMW/MINI Certified Collision Repair Center or local bodyshop from pick-up through the timely completion of the repair to ensure the shortest downtime for the customer in their vehicle
- Act as the liaison between the employee and Marsh Insurance on all vehicle incident/damage claims
- Supervise the team to ensure proper documenting and reporting of driver issues that result in high expense for the business (e.g. consistent poor vehicle condition at return, multiple accidents, etc.)
- Optimize and balance company car inventory while helping the business deliver on key metrics (highest resale value, shortest days to sell, etc.) and providing a quality company car program to employees/retirees
- Ensure full compliance of federal and state legal requirements for damage disclosures for new vehicles as well as used vehicles.
- Maintaining accurate records of vehicle via electronic as well as paper files, including plate assignment, pick-up/return vehicle condition, Damage Disclosures, etc.
- Manage operational issues for day-to-day activities, respond to high priority, complete and/or escalated customer requests.
- Make recommendations for business process improvements and solutions as they relate to the business need

The pay range for this role is: $59,077.00 - $70,048.
The selected candidate's education, skills, experience, and location will be used to determine the final salary offer. All pay ranges are based on a full-time work schedule. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or certification.
- 2 to 4 years of prior experience working with customers and providing exceptional experience.
- Driver's license in good standing is a must.
Preferences:
- Automotive retail experience is preferred in either sales or non-technical service departments.
