Job Summary:
Hager Companies is seeking an experienced and dynamic National Residential Sales Manager to join our family-owned manufacturing company, proudly serving our customers for 175 years. In this key sales leadership role, you will drive sales and expand our national account relationships while managing and mentoring a talented team of professional sales representatives.
As the National Residential Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, identifying new market opportunities, and fostering corporate relationships with key existing and prospective distributors, dealers, and pre-hangers. Your passion for sales and commitment to excellence will inspire your team to achieve ambitious goals and deliver exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will reside in Dallas, Kansas City, St. Louis, Chicago, Atlanta, Orlando, or Charlotte.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a high-performing sales team to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
- Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to expand national account relationships and market share.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, motivation, and accountability within the sales team.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product offerings, support service levels, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Regularly report on sales performance and adjust strategies to meet changing market conditions.
Education/Knowledge: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a business field such as Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Five years of experience in a sales management and / or national account management position in residential building materials required.
Skills: Must have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), including presentation skills. Exceptional team building, coaching, and collaboration skills are required. Negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities are important. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
Physical Requirements: Normal office environment which requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and see. May involve the ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects of up to 15 to 20 pounds, infrequently.
Travel: Must be able to travel without restrictions, approximately 75-80% of the time (domestic travel).
