Job Overview
Salary Range: $125-160K (Based on Experience) uncapped commission
This is a fully remote opportunity with travel
Candidates must reside in the Northeast, Southeast, or Central US
The core responsibility of the National Sales Executive is to call on assigned prospective and existing customers to sell contract cleaning, exterior services, and trade services to National or Enterprise-level retail, distribution, healthcare, hospitality, education and other sectors in North America, with the intent of delivering new revenue at or above targeted levels.
As the National Sales Executive the following duties and responsibilities will be part of this opportunity, but are not limited to them:
- Identify opportunities in target markets through an in-depth knowledge of those markets and form a strategic plan to target key opportunities
- Form relationships with key clients with a focus on increasing market awareness and establishing the company as a trusted partner
- Build a robust sales pipeline fed by informed pre-engagement, networking and industry knowledge to maintain a sales funnel in order to maintain a consistent pipeline
- Deliver profitable projects and support the Senior Vice President of Sales to deliver growth in accordance with the business plan and wider business goals
- Develops sales and marketing proposals, plans and presentations
- Achieve both successful sales to new customers and sales growth with current customers
- Meets or exceeds assigned quarterly and annual sales goals
- Manages bid schedules to ensure deadlines are met
- Performs outbound prospecting activities and attends trade shows
- Approximately 50% travel
Requirements for our National Sales Executive:
- 5 year's progressive experience including cold calling, meeting sales goals, negotiation, selling to customer needs, motivation for sales, sales planning, market analysis, and building relationships,
- Proven ability to manage the sales process from first contact through the RFP process and successful sale to new customers and sales growth with current customers
- Past experience selling to large, national account ($2M and above)
- Experience selling janitorial or building maintenance services a plus
- Independently motivated; self-driven
- Ability to negotiate profitable contracts while maintaining customer confidence and trust
- Salesforce and related software applications
