NATIONAL TRAINER
JOB SUMMARY
Has the ability to provide thorough and meaningful training experiences for new franchisee's team members during Training and Opening Weeks. Ensures that all new franchisee's team members are trained to make sure every guest leaves happy.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Effectively trains franchisee's team members according to procedures in the Operations Manual to ensure that every guest who chooses Culver's leaves happy.
- Instruct others on the making of quality products while maintaining proper food safety practices, portion control and presentation within service goal times.
- Explains each position in detail using the training guides and the Operations Manual, to ensure complete understanding of trainees' function and relation to the overall operation.
- Committed to teamwork demonstrating integrity and honesty while interacting with everyone.
- Sets the safety standard at all times in the opening restaurant, and looks out for the safety of other team members and guests.
- Trains and demonstrates effective food safety practices, according to the Operations Manual and ServSafe. Accurately completes and understands the Quality Control/Safe Food Checklist, as well as Product Rotation Reports.
- Reports to each shift in a neat, clean and unwrinkled uniform. Maintains a neat, well groomed appearance including personal hygiene, hair restraint and jewelry restrictions.
- Reports to each shift on time. Is considered by peers as reliable and dependable.
- Follows established restaurant practices and procedures.
- Performs primary and secondary position responsibilities timely and accurately.
- Performs any other miscellaneous job duties as assigned.
- Demonstrates positive and effective role modeling for all team members through appearance and attitude, according to the Operations Manual, and Code of Conduct.
- Effectively handles, and trains others to handle guest comments promptly and courteously.
- Has the ability to be away from home for long periods of time.
- Effectively teach Culver's material in a classroom style setting to as many as 100 new team members.
- Follows communications from CFS through email and The Hub to stay up to date on Culver's most current best practice procedures as well as Standard Operating Procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
Employed at a Culver's restaurant for at least six (6) months and 18 years of age or older. Has the ability to teach knowledge and skills to all personality and learning styles. Exhibits good communication skills, both written and verbal. Must have a patient, and positive attitude, and remain calm in stressful situations. Is responsible, and can be relied upon to perform duties with little to no supervision.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Lives within range of a major airport
- Is capable of traveling alone
- Able to travel for 1-2 week time periods up to 3 times per year
