Rate Range: $60-$65/Hr
Job Description:
- Must Have: Aerospace background, DO-160/ ARP4754/4761, Exp with Navigation system integration.
- 10+ years of navigation system integration, or related airborne systems; including hardware and software integration is required.
- Self-motivated and able to execute to team objectives.
- Experience with integration and certification of aviation navigation systems and components such as Embedded GPS/INS (EGI), Radar Altimeter (Radalt), TACAN, VOR, ILS/Client, etc.
- Experience with SAE ARP4754/4761, DO-160 , DO-201, DO-229, DO-236, AC 20-138 and 14 CFR Part 27 and 29
- Experience with Aerospace engineering processes including requirements definition, requirements allocation, requirements validation, requirements verification, integration, embedded software, electronic systems, FAA/EASA/NAA certification, and system safety.
- Excellent communicator must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal and external, and brief leaders/customers.
- Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science is preferred. Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering or other Engineering degrees with applicable experience is acceptable.
- Advanced degrees will be considered as additional experience.
