Maven Group is looking for the right professional to help ensure Navy ERP+ works and works well to meet the functional requirements of the Navy in the technical structure of SAP S/4HANA.

Our Senior Business Analyst will facilitate the Navy ERP+ project by serving as a liaison between users and developers, setting and communicating goals, and evaluating and refining results for defining the requirements, use cases, and data structure for the Navy's Budget to Report or Procure to Pay processes. In this role, you will be working in a multi-vendor environment, and organize the work, the communications, and the schedule for a team of technical, financial, business process, and data specialists to produce and validate the requirements and use cases for SAP S4 HANA design.  You will be engaging with Navy Leadership and Executives and should be comfortable communicating at that level. We're looking for a US Citizen, with 5-7 years of experience and a related degree. 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• With the Project Manager, exercises joint authority and responsibility for the work and schedules of your team. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with Navy Commands and the team to thoroughly understand the needs to be supported by the information systems and technology.
• Determines and documents how changes to the project will affect the business and systems.
• Provides recommendations regarding Navy ERP+ user stories, use cases and design specifications.
• Responds to inquiries and provides advice to the client regarding current and potential system inputs, processes, and outputs for the Budget to Report processes. 
• Negotiates plans and timeframes, ensuring that clients understand the anticipated result. 
• Coordinates development and communication of detailed user stories, decision packages, and data specifications.
• Produces reports, timelines, and graphics to communicate expectations and progress to management, customers, and other relevant parties. 
• Maintains and ensures proper documentation and coordinates decision and authorization as needed.
• Collaborates with the Project Manager to ensure the needs of the client have been met.
• Utilizing the technical, functional, and data team resources, researches and analyzes the nature, effect, and results of SAP S4 Gaps for the Budget to Report processes.
• Acts as liaison with Technical, Data, and Change Management Teams as well as vendors to support Navy ERP+.
• Maintains current understanding of industry standards, trends, and best practices through industry and other professional networks.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field required.
• At least five to seven years of related experience. 
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Navy/DoD Budget processes
• Experience with Navy ERP, Audit, or Budget systems and activities preferred
• Experience with Jira preferred
• Experience working in a multi-vendor, long term project preferred
