In addition to all of our internships being paid, we will also offer the following for our Summer 2025 interns:

Summer 2025 Recruitment Timeline:   

• November 4 – December 6: Applications Open (may close early due to applicant volume)  
• Mid November – Late December: First round video interviews   
• Mid – Late January: Second round interviews  
• Late January – February: Selected candidates receive offers  

Summer 2025 Internship Program: 

• Applications Close: December 6th at 11:59pm ET. Pro Tip: Submit your application as soon as possible – applications could close earlier due to applicant volume!  
• Program Dates: June 2 – August 8, 2025 
• Time Commitment: 40 hours per week. Exact schedule to be determined based on business need.  
• Format: Opportunities listed will require an intern to work from Orlando, FL.

NBC Sports Next is a subdivision of NBC Sports and home to all NBCUniversal digital applications in sports and technology within its three groups: Youth & Recreational Sports, Golf, and Betting, Gaming & Emerging Media. Areas of placement may include, but are not limited to:  

SportsEngine Sales – This internship will provide valuable insights into the world of sales and the opportunity to learn and develop essential skills in prospecting, lead generation, product demonstrations, and customer engagement. As a sales intern, you will work closely with our experienced sales team to support various sales initiatives and contribute to the overall sales strategy. 

Golf Now Sales – GolfNow is the leading online tee time marketplace and provider of golf course operations technology. The GolfNow Sales team is divided into geographic regions of Market Sales Managers and Area Sales Managers that report into an Area Director. Our sales team provides full-cycle sales from prospecting, lead generation, relationship building, technology demos, and account penetration throughout the United States and Canada. The GolfNow Sales intern will have exposure to all levels of the GolfNow Sales organization and will collaborate internally with other teams such as Sales Operations, Activations, Plus Business Services and more.       

Entertainment Sales – This internship will provide valuable insights into the world of sales and the opportunity to learn and develop essential skills in prospecting, lead generation, product demonstrations, and customer engagement. As a sales intern, you will work closely with our experienced sales team to support various sales initiatives and contribute to the overall sales strategy. 

Customer Success (Content Enablement) – The Customer Experience internship program offers hands-on exposure to one of three focus areas—Customer Content/Technical Writing, Customer Support, or Project Management—based on your interests and experience. Interns on the Customer Content & Enablement team will create customer-facing materials to support platform adoption and deliver training for Customer Success teams. In Customer Support, interns will develop technical knowledge of the SportsEngine platform to assist customers with troubleshooting. Those in Project Management will partner with Solutions Specialists on content migration and collaborate with Project Managers on key Customer Success initiatives. 

Basic Requirements: 

• Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program (June 2025 through August 2025). May 2025 graduates are not eligible for our Summer 2025 Internship Program. 
• Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits). 
• Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future to retain authorization to work in the United States. 
• Must be willing to work in Orlando, FL. 

For further clarification, candidates currently on any student or exchange visa (e.g. F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, J-1, M-1) are not eligible to apply unless they will be able to change or adjust to another status that grants work authorization without NBCUniversal sponsorship.  

NBCUniversal is an E-Verify company, requiring all employees to have an active Social Security number. Any candidate receiving an internship offer must complete I-9 form with Social Security number within 3 days of hire.   

Desired Characteristics: 

• Students with class standing of junior or above preferred. 
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. Demonstrate a sense of urgency and ownership thinking 
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills 
• Demonstrated time-management skills 
• A desire to learn about technology daily 
• Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of customers; specifically, be able to provide clear understanding of technical issues and coach the customer through steps to resolution 

The hourly rate for undergraduate student interns is $17.50 

The hourly rate for graduate student interns is $18.50.
