EDUCATION AND FORMAL TRAINING:
- Graduate of an AMA approved Sonography program. ARRT (Sonography) or ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer(RDMS) preferred.
- New graduates may apply that are registered or registry eligible.
- New graduates that are registry eligible must be registered by either ARDMS or ARRT (Sonography) within 12 months of their hire date.
- Maintain current AHA CPR certification through Client's Training and Development department.
- 1 year minimal experienced required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Demonstrates technical skills and expertise in performing diagnostic and vascular sonography. Demonstrates positive interpersonal skills. Verbal and written skills required.
- Demonstrates compassionate patient care.
- Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development and understands the range of treatment needed for all age groups.
- Provides care based on the patient's developmental needs.
- Experienced in the delivery of effective patient care and interacts effectively with patients of all ages.
