About the Job
NDT Technician
Travel Contract with $120 in per diem
Description:
+ Assist in the building of the United States Navy’s new Ford-class Nuclear Powered Aircraft Carrier, as well as the Nuclear Powered Submarine.
+ Conduct NDT inspections using MT, PT, VT or RT, or UT methods.
+ Interpret and evaluate test results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
+ Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records.
+ Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to address any identified issues.
+ Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
+ Maintain and calibrate NDT equipment.
+ Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.
Qualifications:
+ Certification in any of the following NDT methods (MT, PT, VT, RT, UT) in accordance with industry standards (ASNT).
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in NDT inspection.
+ Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and specifications.
+ Proficiency in using NDT equipment.
