This position offers an exceptional opportunity to join a team dedicated to providing expert care to neonates in a Level IIB NICU setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Neonatal Intensive Care: Provide comprehensive care to infants born at 32 weeks gestation or greater, including those requiring CPAP and ventilation support.
• Newborn Nursery: Provide coverage for the well-newborn nursery, ensuring the health and well-being of all infants.
• Teaching and Mentorship: Share your knowledge and expertise with residents, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
• Family-Centered Care: Partner with families to provide compassionate, comprehensive care that meets the unique needs of each infant and their family.
• Collaboration: Work as an integral member of a supportive team of neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Required:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Active board certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics in both Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
  • 3+ years of post-training experience
  • Ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
  • Unrestricted DEA certification
• Preferred:
  • Academic credentials for a faculty appointment at the rank of Associate Professor
  • Experience in a Level II NICU as the primary physician
