Role Overview:

As a .NET Developer with 9+ years of experience in the banking or finance sector, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing our .NET-based applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and project managers, to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Your expertise in .NET, SQL, and Python will be instrumental in building robust and secure software applications that align with industry regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance .NET-based applications for banking and financial systems.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement and integrate software solutions that meet regulatory compliance and security standards.
• Write efficient and maintainable code in C# and ASP.NET, following coding standards and best practices.
• Develop and optimize database schemas, stored procedures, and complex queries using SQL Server or similar database systems.
• Integrate external APIs, services, and third-party libraries into existing applications to enhance functionality.
• Perform thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure their reliability, accuracy, and compliance with business requirements.
• Collaborate with other developers and technical teams to ensure seamless integration and interoperability of various systems.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in .NET development, SQL, and Python, and apply relevant technologies to improve application performance and efficiency.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster their professional growth.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to develop and execute comprehensive test plans, ensuring software quality and stability.
• Participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• 9+ years of professional experience as a .NET Developer in the banking or finance industry, with a strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
• Solid proficiency in .NET framework, including C#, ASP.NET, and MVC.
• Extensive experience in database development and management using SQL Server or similar relational database systems.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting, data manipulation, and automation tasks.
• Strong knowledge of banking and finance domain, including regulatory compliance and security standards.
• Familiarity with financial APIs, protocols, and data formats such as FIX, SWIFT, or FpML is highly desirable.
• Experience with data warehousing, reporting, and analytics solutions is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug and resolve complex issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
