Forensic Biology Forensic Statistical Tool (FST) Programming Services - Internet/Internet Application Services
OCME has developed, validated and implemented for casework a statistical software termed "the Forensic Statistical Tool " (FST). This program, which is used by OCME forensic analysts every day, generates statistics for complex DNA evidence samples. Previously, no statistical value could be calculated for these samples. Currently, this evidence will not be accepted in court without a statistic. The program has some bugs and inefficiencies that must be resolved. Furthermore, in order to report even more complex results, additional statistical functions must be programmed. The code for FST was originally written by a contract programmer who is no longer available. Therefore, a new programmer is needed.
OCME seeks a highly skilled and motivated .Net developer.
Typical tasks include but are not limited to the following:
* Participate in design, specification and solution architecture of new systems.
* Utilize skills to enhance existing FST Application.
* Participate in the establishment, management and use of full software development lifecycle toolset for capturing requirements and design documentation, test plan management, unit testing, source control, manual, and automated functional testing, performance testing and tuning, automated build and deployment.
* Work with Users and Business Analysts to gather requirements for projects.
* Work with Project Managers to determine timelines and project tasks.
* Maintain application written in .Net and SQL.
