Scope:
We are looking for a NetApp engineer who will work with internal customers to support multiple applications that are depending on Netapp technology. Currently, there are over 450 controllers (mainly FAS2240) that are located across multiple headends/markets nationwide.
This position is for a storage engineer that can not only support the deployed Netapp infrastructure but also assist with troubleshooting of connected servers and the use of storage as it relates to customer applications. This engineer will be part of an SRE team providing 24/7 support of the deployed infrastructure and connected clients.

Scope:

This position is for a storage engineer that can not only support the deployed Netapp infrastructure but also assist with troubleshooting of connected servers and the use of storage as it relates to customer applications. This engineer will be part of an SRE team providing 24/7 support of the deployed infrastructure and connected clients.
- Be part of a 24x7 storage support team with local and remote office team members.
- Provide storage provisioning (NFS and iscsi), storage decommissioning, and migration.
- Administer NetApp FAS with current version ONTAP (7-mode and Cluster mode) management console; DataFabric Manager (DFM); Operations Manager and command line interfaces.
- Provide and lead storage troubleshooting and tuning to meet customer requirements.
- Analyze storage monitoring and alerting, taking proactive action on events to avoid outages.
- Participate in storage "War Games” with customers to determine configurations and optimum architecture for their application requirements.
- Work within the SRE team to support storage capacity management.
- Work closely with customers for incident management and production support.
- Add, modify, upgrade, manage NetApp hardware and software
- Apply pertinent Security Technical Information Guides (STIG) as appropriate in coordination of Information Assurance (IA) policies and procedures
- Create, modify, troubleshoot, and manage Snapshots/Snapmirrors
