Network Administrator - TEKsystems

Role: Network Administrator

Description of work to be performed: Firewall administration, Cisco Route and Switch, Data Center Cabling, ability to carry up to 50 lbs

Position requires weekly travel between Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire.

Must have a reliable vehicle. Mileage will be reimbursed.

- Proven experience as a Network Administrator, with experience in data center environments.

- In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF).

- Familiarity with access control models and network security.

- Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools.

- Professional certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCDP) is strongly desired.
