Rate: DOE (Only W2 / 1099)

Description/Comment:
Configures and administers network switches, routers, access control devices, and wireless and monitoring platforms. Performs in-depth network services monitoring and troubleshooting. Evaluates and deploys new services and functions as needed. Serves as lead on network projects and participates in network infrastructure design. Installs software and hardware and configures servers and firewalls. Implements, maintains and documents security policies. Manages intrusion detection systems, internet monitoring, virus protection and other security initiatives. Tunes networks to ensure availability and performance standards are met. Creates and implements disaster recovery strategies. Supports email applications and spam management
Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm
Additional Job Details:
At the direction of a lead engineer complete tasks as defined to execute and deliver on multiple projects. Most tasks will revolve around configuring and installing new network devices, applying base configurations and application specific configurations Work with IT and business partners to capture requirements and convert to network configurations, Apply those configurations and assist in testing and validations Modify existing configurations to meet evolving business needs Document network designs Document change steps and validation plans; provide training to Jr Engineers on those steps. Document management requirements from Operations and configure devices to support.
