Network Administrator - Hybrid at ConsultUSA

Description:

Our client has an immediate need for a Network Administrator, who is responsible for installing, configuring, and supporting an organization’s systems or a segment of a network systems

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree is a plus
• Active CCNA or CCNP certification preferred - any F5 certification is preferred
• 3+ years of experience
• Working knowledge of Cisco Routers: Hardware & software
• WAN links such as MPLS, GigE, and broadband
• Layer 2 protocols such as Vlans, Spanning Tree
• Layer 3 routing protocols such as eigrp, bgp, ospf
• TCP/IP and related protocols
• Working knowledge of network packet capture tools such as Wireshark, WildPackets, etc.
• ITIL Foundations or experience with concepts such as Request, Incident, Problem and Change
• Ability to utilize network packet capture to diagnose network communication anomalies and disruptions
• Working knowledge of DNS administration (preferred - Bluecat DNS product experience)
• Any work with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) is a plus
• Scripting experience is a plus
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, and Ansible is a plus
• Troubleshooting complex enterprise environments
• F5 administration

Responsibilities:

• Support/troubleshooting and assisting projects with issues related to that
• Network troubleshooting and diagnostics
• Supporting technology infrastructure for critical applications
• Utilizing capture to determine communication anomalies and isolate
