Education/Experience:
• High School Degree and Bachelor’s degree in data processing /related field or equivalent work experience required
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in role required
Preferred Education/Experience:
• Active CCNA or CCNP certification preferred - any F5 certifications is preferred as well - no degree requirement, looking for equivalent years of experience
• Years of experience: Level 2: 3-5 years
Must have technical skills/experience (ask for alternative/tool/version):
• Working knowledge of Cisco Routers: Hardware & softwareWAN links such as MPLS, GigE, and broadband
• Layer 2 protocols such as Vlans, Spanning Tree,
• Layer 3 routing protocols such as eigrp, bgp, ospf
• TCP/IP and related protocols
• Working knowledge of network packet capture tools such as Wireshark, WildPackets, etc.
• ITIL Foundations or experience with concepts such as Request, Incident, Problem and Change
• Ability to utilize network packet capture to diagnose network communication anomalies and disruptions
• Working knowledge of DNS administration (preferred - Bluecat DNS product experience)
Flex Skills:
• Any work with site reliability engineering (SRE)
• Scripting experience
• Python
• Java script
• Ansible
• Troubleshooting complex enterprise environments
• F5 administration
Skills:
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time
• Ability to identify, interpret and evaluate system and network requirements
• Knowledge of networking computer hardware and software

• Ability to train and mentor junior resources
We are seeking a Network Administrator to install, configure, and support an organization’s systems or a segment of a network systems.
Job Responsibilities:
• Study and document present work flow and procedures. Identify potential computer networking and computer application areas
• Configure and analyze email applications or virus protection software
• Write, test and de-bug complex programs
• Prepare system flow diagrams and develop systems procedures
• Provide technical assistance and training to user staff and to programming and operation personnel
• Prepare, coordinate and supervise systems implementation
• Performs advanced administration requiring sound and thorough knowledge of specified operational products /services
• Provides technical operational, analytical and research support to technical teams through both written and verbal communications
• Drives incident resolution and root cause analysis of production problems
• Administers, executes processes/procedures and addresses issues for products and services supported in Technology Infrastructure
• May support analysis and report generation, exception processing and service management
• Implements new products, services, and operational solutions as well as augments existing capabilities
• Develops and maintains technical, operational and service procedures, as well as process workflows for operational/applications teams
