Overview
Chestnut Health Systems is seeking a full-time Network Analyst to work at our Bloomington, IL facility.
Chestnut Health Systems is a leading provider of behavioral and primary health care services. Over four decades, Chestnut has grown to over 700 committed, compassionate employees providing substance use, mental health, and primary care treatment to patients in Central and Southern Illinois. We provide fully integrated care for all our patients by combining behavioral health care services with our community-based primary care health centers. Chestnut also conducts research and training throughout the U.S.A.
Responsibilities
- Provide second-level support on installing and configuring PCs, software, and peripherals to include mobile devices such as corporate smart phones.
- Install, configure, monitor, and maintain server infrastructure, SAN, VMWare vSphere server virtualization, and networking equipment of all kinds.
- Maintain DNS, DHCP, IIS, Active Directory and other member servers on the corporate domain.
- Install, configure, and maintain corporate email, Internet, and other related communications systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair hardware and software problems at all levels.
- Assist with VoIP and telecommunications (phone) systems administration and maintenance under general supervision by the Network Systems Manager.
- Perform various system administration duties (ensuring that system integrity, performance, backups, monitoring, security, and connectivity are maintained).
Qualifications
- Position requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in IS or a related field and three (3) years’ related experience in network administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Extensive background in Windows 2008/2012 Server and Windows workstation OS administration is required.
- Experience with network design, configuration and troubleshooting is needed.
- Experience in VoIP, VMWare vSphere server virtualization, and SAN administration is preferred.
- General background in configuring and troubleshooting network devices and servers is also essential.
- Excellent organizational skills, strong communication and teamwork skills are required.
- Industry recognized certification is desirable.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, private automobile insurance and be insurable.
- Must be able lift 10-20 pounds on a regular basis and up to 40 pounds for occasional projects.
- Satisfactory completion of Chestnut’s background checking process.
