Position Responsibilities
- The Network Architect is responsible for the overall design and performance of the client's entire network. You have extensive experience in advanced routing, switching, and Network virtualization and will develop creative solutions that stand up to rigorous review from peers and Technology leaders.
- You keep abrest of the latest technologies and will be evaluating and recommending available technology tools and processes, providing architectural guidance accessing existing capabilities, gathering requirements, synthesizing, findings, creating and presenting system designs, translating design into technical solutions, validating solution in the lab, and being a thought leader on the team. This is an existing, fast-paced, and dynamic environment that requires people who can identify, design, and deploy the latest network technologies in creative ways, we are looking for network leaders who think for themselves, have the ability to see multiple solutions paths, and have the desire and drive to get the best possible answer.
Key Qualifications:
- 10+ Years' experience in network infrastructure design, Development and Automation, and support.
- Experience with network technologies (Cisco Router/Switch, firewalls, Client, wireless, Load balancing, Monitoring, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, VXLAN, EBGP VPN)
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices such as Linux, data abstraction and structured data (JSON, YAML, YANG), code management and collaboration (Jira, Confluence, Stash, GitHub), Programming and automation (Ansible, Python, and REST APIs)
- Familiar with IaaS Platforms (AWS, Axure, etc.) and SDN technologies and Vendors.
- Desire and ability to quickly learn new technologies think independently, see multiple possibilities, and get to the best answer.
