Who we are looking for/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred or 1+ years of related experience
- 1-5+ years of troubleshooting and break-fix analysis in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Top 3 skills:
- Following and updating documentation
- Basic network diagnosis skills
- Experience with Service Now and Jira
Desired experience in the following technologies:
- Schneider UPS, DNS, DHCP, Arista Switches, Linux Servers, NTP, Rhombus Camera, Confluence, Service Now, Jira,
- Written and verbal skills
- Remote Administration
Performance Objectives/What you'll be doing:
- The primary responsibilities in the role are to support the Branch Network including the switches, APC UPS, Velo cloud devices, Rhombus Camera and HS54 smart PDUs.
- The ability to troubleshoot, analyze data and complete diagnosis are critical.
- Documentation of the issues in Service Now and general documentation and references in Confluence are required.
- Additional responsibilities will extend into cross train with the server and cloud teams, scripting solution to eliminate “click admin tasks” and to learn new technologies and responsibilities over time.
