Position Summary:
The Network Administrator Senior will design, install, modify, monitor, and maintain the networks. This position will monitor, maintain, and support multiple networks in a highly secure environment. Exceptional analytical skills are required to trouble shoot issues and deliver secure, reliable networking services. The Network Administrator establishes VPN, LAN, and WAN specifications by conferring with users, analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements. This position improves the networking environment by monitoring and evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, and latency; planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections and firewalls. This position secures the networks by developing and implementing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation systems, and maintaining documentation.

Responsibilities Include:
Provide support of system operations, maintenance, administration, and network management services.
Monitor and maintain network hardware including servers, routers, and switches.
Monitor and evaluate network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, and latency.
Load, configure, and install operating systems.
Provide all support functions to include installation of new systems and network infrastructure equipment and removal of old systems and relocation of equipment.
Plan and execute the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment.
Conduct fault-isolation, repair hardware and components.
Secure networks by developing and implementing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation systems, and maintaining documentation.
Establish connections and firewalls.
Maintain designated equipment in good working condition.
Define network policies and procedures.
Confer with users, analyze workflow, network security, and access requirements.
Evaluate network equipment and capabilities and make recommendations on needed infrastructure upgrades or changes.
Perform network cable maintenance to include network cable installation, testing, troubleshooting, minor fiber repair and cable management.
Minimum Requirements:
Years of Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience in network administration
Clearance: Top Secret/SCI
Certifications Required: Security +
