Key Responsibilities

Design and implement network configurations, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Monitor and manage network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity across all departments.

Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.

Troubleshoot network issues swiftly to minimize downtime and impact on operations.

Implement and enforce security protocols and policies to protect sensitive data and systems.

Collaborate with IT teams to integrate network solutions with existing technologies.

Perform capacity planning to ensure network scalability and effectiveness.

Conduct regular audits of the network to detect vulnerabilities and performance issues.

Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.

Provide technical support and training to end-users on network-related issues.

Evaluate new technologies and recommend solutions to enhance network performance and security.

Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans related to network infrastructure.

Create and manage network management tools to ensure peak performance.

Serve as a point of contact for vendors and service providers during installation and troubleshooting.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in all network-related activities.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role in a corporate environment.

Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.).

Hands-on experience with routing and switching technologies.

Familiarity with network security practices and firewalls.

Experience in configuring and managing VPN solutions.

Proficiency in network performance monitoring tools.

Knowledge of network operating systems (Cisco IOS, Linux, etc.).

Certification in networking (CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, etc.) preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.

Experience in cloud networking is a plus.
