Network Engineer
Round Rock, TX
6 Months Contract

The Client looking for Network Engineer professional to join the internal IT organization. This opportunity will allow you to be a part of deploying, designing and supporting a large global enterprise network infrastructure to enable business objectives. Our team is currently growing as business requirements continue to expand. This is a great opportunity to join a new and changing culture in the Network Datacenter Services organization. The successful candidate for this role should possess all the requirements below, with an emphasis on the ability to trouble shoot complicated issues on the fly.
Responsibilities:
Provides support for all network devices globally with an emphasis on the Datacenter infrastructure.
Provides deployment support for projects associate with network refreshes and new designs.
Ensures timely and proper network documentation for all applicable deployments
Carries an on call support responsibility as part of the on call rotation
Identifies and recommends remediation and/or new processes where necessary in the environment
Qualifications:
10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience in enterprise networking support, design, deployment
Minimum of a CCNP certification is up to date
Possesses knowledge, skills and abilities required to resolve complex network related problems.
Advanced knowledge of network performance, hardware and software
Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of highly complex problems
Ability to consistently apply broad knowledge of network administration to diagnose and resolve network problems
Effective communication skills within and outside the team
Advanced knowledge of security issues and implications to network solutions
Advanced knowledge of network dynamic routing protocols
Advanced knowledge of network layer-2 connectivity and spanning tree protocol. Must have experience in configuring large, complex switched networks.
Advanced knowledge of Cisco products, F5 LTM/GTM's and load balancing
Have experience configuring DHCP and DNS records
Possesses knowledge and experience in analyzing packet traces of TCP/IP traffic
Experience with, and the ability to, manage complex trouble shooting
