Network Engineer at TEKsystems

TEKsystems has a client that is in need of a Network Engineer to assist across multiple global WAN initiatives and provide L3 support for their global network which spans 130+ countries and 240+ sites. The Network Engineer will be responsible for assisting engineering, configuration and troubleshooting activities across WAN and Border Security. The Network Engineer will assist on a Macro Segmentation project to deploy Palo-Alto firewalls at their manufacturing sites. This environment consists of mainly Cisco R&S, Checkpoint and Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco Viptela for SD-WAN. Candidates should have extensive route experience designing, implementing and supporting enterprise WAN environments. Experience with configuring and implementing Firewall Palo Alto 1410, 1420 and 3410 is required. They are in the process of implementing Palo Alto firewalls on the WAN as an ongoing evaluation of their next gen firewall architecture. This will help with the initial deployment of Palo Alto firewalls in their environment across 30 manufacturing sites which will require support with implementation, configuration, troubleshooting and operationalization.

This will be working across a variety of engineering and support functions. Network Engineers should have the ability and willingness to work across all aspects from engineering to L3 support in a hands-on capacity.
